The door moving at light speed Accelerating from wind gust Passeing through unattended window Opened, broken, and laid bare by time Slams with loud report Lazy wisps of rising smoke Like locks of midnight blue hair Tumbling downward from the brow Of a black Moroccan Princess Rise above the roofs of the forbidden city Grass and weed muscle men Push through cracks in the empty streets Their crumbling concrete and tar cover Bleached gray by desert sun, yield grudgingly Split asunder rise up in jagged pinnacles She stands, feet spread arms crossed Her long black gown waving in angry defiance Scoffing at the dust devils swirling around it As if daring them to brush against her cold skin Her very touch their slow demise Her dark eyes scream out a challenge To any who'd dare gaze into those whirlpools Of lapis and dooms unblinking orbs And be drawn in, the breath pulled from lungs Their destiny bare bones and rag scraps I approached her without fear of this new disguise Her magick and power mere toys to amuse I reached out my hand curving 'round her neck And slowly pulled her towards me watching A hint of fear creeping into that cold stare Her hair rose up like black adders, striking Whipping at my face, as a dust storm enveloped us The empty streets shuddered and moaned as earth heaved The half ruined houses creaking, collapsed in pillars of ancient dust Ten thousand ravens flew into the air as the sky turned dark A new look crept into her continence Her eyes flashing from Azurite to Malachite Her breast burst asunder her white hot heart pulsing As rays of loves energy passes into me Blue plasma burrowing itself into my soul She searched me for my heart to steal But no heart pounds in my body taken long ago In eons passed too many to count I pulled her into me, as a new sun Born of us two, rose up on that empty street I could feel her mind within mine filling me up With visions of happiness and gentle caress As the battle was joined, I focused like a lens In the hand of my child, burning bugs on sidewalks Confident that my victory was a certainty this time My god she felt good there in my mind As waves of non-stop ecstasy surged through my being Rising slowly upward until finally reaching this old brain For the smallest instant my mind wandered looking Assured that which I never felt, existed somewhere within And in that instant she slipped away from me Not with force or anger, but with a firm gentle slip She burst back to life once again in all her splendor The scent of her perfume carried aloft by the wind The sun ignited once again streaming down upon her Her eyes opened slowly and she spoke aloud mockingly "Oh death will you never learn? This battle waged age after age. Yet always ending the same to your folly and lesson not learned. For to my door, you may ultimately come and battle quickly won But I am love and will always rise again. For love is eternal"
