| A friend of mine lost her little girl That moment it set her life a whirl In a downward spiraling to a dark abyss Life’s joy is gone she can’t hold or kiss Drive away your sadness make it fade Step into the sun away from the shade For some memories you will only find When you’re in a happy state of mind And those will be best I’ve been assured Smiling thoughts or a forgotten word Or images of laughter on a happy day Into your thoughts they make their way I know it’s hard and I don’t mean let go I just passed it on so you would know I think about you hope you’re well I sent you a cyber hug...could you tell? |
