Kathmandu And Other Visions From The Eagles Eye
Last night I flew
Off to Kathmandu
Where I came to rest
In an Eagles nest

The moon it was blue
And the stars they were too
At Bouddhanath I was blessed
Then I flew to the west

Near Sesh Narayan
Where the Bagmati ran
I could hear the monks pray
And chanting away

For when war killed no man
Or spoiled their plan
For the gentler way
And a peaceful new day

With a tear in my eye
I took to the sky
And flew back to my bed
Where my broken heart bled

Why do men make men die
As their bullets they fly
This question was said
In this dream in my head
