Point Of Apogee
    Can you tell me if our love will last
    Will you tell me when our love has passed
    That point of apogee
    Will you keep it safe loves joy so vast

    We map our certainty left to right
    A plotting point or a reference light
    That illuminates love
    Bright and safe from the dark of the night

    At times we're lost and can't find our way
    Not from the dark night not from the day
    Lost on loves deep steep path
    Seeking meaning from what others say

    Some days we're Gods in loves armor clad
    Nothing can harm or make us feel bad
    When it feels oh so right
    And seems can only feel oh so glad

    And then the dark slowly creeping in
    From the back of the minds deep dark bin
    Moving ever forward
    Once emerged its pain will always win

    A sorrowful sight loves stripped us bare
    Free falling while numb from rush of air
    Cascading into pain
    Landing crumpled in lost loves dark lair

    So I beg  you say  if love will last
    Will you please just say
    When our love has passed
    That point of apogee
